Today we will visit the town of Palenque. The tour starts with a walking tour around the community of Palenque, a visit to a local home to learn about the family and their fruit-based candy business; interaction with the natives; a visit to the school of music and arts for a performance of a traditional music group and traditional dances. We will return to the city after lunch.

Today, after breakfast, we will spend the day touring the Rosario Island. You will be able to take in the sun on a catamaran cruise and enjoy music, dancing and water sports at our stopped locations. Lunch will be served on board.

US passport holders must have a valid passport for six months past their return date. Also, Colombia Immigration application (Check Migracion) must be completed 2 to 3 days before arrival in Cartagena. All non-US passport holders will need to check requirements from their State Department or Governing Agency

The arrival airport is Rafael Nunez International Airport (CTG) between 11 AM and 1 PM.
The group transport will depart the airport at 2 PM.

Most restaurants in Cartagena have a variety of food selections. Make sure to
complete your participant information form prior to 60 days before the trip start date to inform us of any allergies.
We have been able to accommodate Vegans, Vegetarians, Pescatarians, and individuals with shellfish allergies. We recommend that individuals with lactose sensitivity refrain from mousses or any cream and milk based dishes.

We have both Single and Double occupancy room types available.
Double Occupancy is when two people share a room. The room will have two beds, typically twin sizes or one bed for a couple which will typically be a Queen size bed.
Single Occupancy is when there is one person in the room. The room will consist of a Full or Queen size bed.
We can assist with roommate matching for individuals that choose double occupancy and don’t have a roommate. We also advise you to use our Facebook Group to post your search for a roommate.
Note: If you are not able to find a roommate match you will have to upgrade to Single Occupancy.

Some of our trips are co-ed and the age range can vary between 25+ to 65+. Our trips are enjoyable for all and you will have free time and time to take in some optional

We advise all of our participants to purchase travel insurance, specifically “cancel forany reason” travel insurance. “Cancel for any Reason” travel insurance

Finalized itineraries are delivered 30 to 60 days before the start of a trip.
We send out a series of emails with detailed information to assist each traveler. We ask that all travelers stay up-to-date on emails. We also conduct at least two zoom calls to answer any questions and view the itinerary. The zoom links will be announced and delivered via email.
