Itinerary

Day 1- Arrive in Cape Town

 Arrive in Cape Town, meet at the airport and transfer to the hotel for check in and rest. In the evening, we will meet for our welcome dinner. 


Your arrival airport code is Cape Town International Airport (CPT) on September 2, 2025.

Day 2 - Cape Town Tour

 After breakfast, we will begin our tour of Cape Town and Table Mountain (weather permitted). Visit to the Slave Lodge, Green Market Square, and Diamonds and Tanzanite tour. Stop for lunch. After lunch we will visit Table Mountain, weather permitting, before returning back to Cape Town for the evening.. Table Mountain Cable Car ticket to be purchased on-site on your own account. In the evening, we will meet for an “All-White” cruise around the waterfront.

Day 3- Robben Island

After breakfast, we will tour Robben Island, an UNESCO World Heritage Site that served as a maximum-security prison where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 18 years. Upon our return to the Waterfront, you will have free time for lunch and exploring before we meet for dinner. Later we will meet to be transferred for Dinner at the Gold Restaurant, meals and entertainment are included, drinks are on your own account.

Day 4 - Free or Kruger National Park

Day 6 - Johannesburg

 For those in Cape Town, you will check out of the hotel, transfer to Cape Town airport (CPT), and fly to JNB.


For those at Kruger National Park, you will check out of the lodge, transfer to MQP  and fly to JNB to meet up with the group.


Upon arrival, we will tour Soweto including Nelson Mandela home, and Pieterson Museum. After lunch, we will check into our hotel in Johannesburg for the evening.


Note: Internal flights are included in your package.

Day 7- Apartheid Museum

 The Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg offers a profound exploration of South Africa’s history of racial segregation and struggle for freedom. The museum's exhibits, spanning from the harsh realities of apartheid to the triumphs of the anti-apartheid movement, are both moving and educational. Visitors walk through a series of interactive displays and powerful visual narratives that detail the injustices faced by South Africans under apartheid.  The Apartheid Museum stands as a crucial reminder of the resilience and courage of those who fought for justice and democracy.

Day 8 - Free Day

Today is your free day in Johannesburg.  Some optional excursions can be enjoyed on this day or time can be spent shopping, or as you please.

Day 9- Depart

 After breakfast, we will pack, check out of our hotel and transfer to the airport (JNB) to board your flight home.


Zimbabwe Extension: For those continuing on to Zimbabwe, we will transfer to JNB for our flight to Victoria Falls (VFA) this day.


Note: Your flight to Victoria Falls (VFA) is included in your optional Zimbabwe extension.

Day 9 - Zimbabwe

Upon arrival at VFA we will transfer to our hotel for lunch. The remainder of the day is free to relax.

Day 10- Victoria Falls Tour

 After breakfast, we will tour Victoria Falls. We will have some time after the morning activities to have lunch and unwind before heading out for dinner. Later, we will set out for a Zambezi Safari River Cruise and a Potjie dinner experience.

Day 11 - Day Safari

Today we will embark on a full day safari at Chobe National Park, Botswana. We will enjoy lunch and later we will meet for our farewell dinner at an African authentic restaurant Boma.

Day 12- Depart

After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport for our flight back to JNB.

  • Yellow fever at least 10 days before arrival is required for travelers originating from or transiting through WHO-designated yellow fever countries.


Zimbabwe Extension


  • A visa is required for entry into Zimbabwe for US passport holders.  Visas can be obtained on arrival in Zimbabwe.  We will obtain a double-entry visa for $45 USD cash upon arrival.
  • An additional four consecutive blank visa pages in your passport book.

  • What is the difference between Single and Double Occupancy?

    Single Occupancy is one person in a room.  Bed size ranges from Double size to King size bed based on hotel and country.


    Double Occupancy is two persons haring a room.  There are two beds wich is usually twin size.


    Couple Occupancy is two persons sharing a room and one bed.  Bed size is usually Queen or King.


    Note: Bed sizes vary per hotel and visiting country.

    No, US passport holders do not need a Visa to enter South Africa.


    However, you will need a Visa to enter Zimbabwe.  A Visa to Zimababwe canbe purchased on arrival.

  • Should I purchase travel insurance?

    Yes, you should purchase medical travel insurance to protect your health in case of an emergency.


    In addition, you should purchase "cancel for any reason" travel insurance to protect your investment.


    "Cancel for any reason" travel insurance protects you if you wish to cancel the trip for any reason covered under the policy.
