Itinerary
Day 1- Arrival
Today upon arrival in Tennesse, we will get situated in our assigned rooms and have a chance to relax. Later we will have a Meet and Greet followed by a Welcome Event.

Day 2 -Rafting
Today we have some time to explore the mountains. You will have an opportunity to enjoy some white-water rafting.
Later in the evening you will have the opportunity to put your spades, uno, and board game skills to the test at our pajama themed game night.

Day 3 - Paint & Sip
Today we have an optional hike for those that are interested. Others can enjoy the hot tub, play some games, or enjoy the on-site theater. Later we will have a Paint & Sip Party. Before heading in town for some shopping and dinner.

Day 4 - Depart
Today we will pack our bags and exchange phone numbers before heading back home.

FAQ
What amenities are included at the lodge?
The lodge consists of a pool table, fireplace, washer & dryer, wireless internet, BBQ grill, home theater, hot tub, iron & ironing board, microwave, and full kitchen.
What items am I responsible for bringing?
You will need to bring any items of a personal nature including toiletries, snacks, and towels.
We will provide you with a packing list as we approach the start date of the trip.
What are the room make-ups?
Each room is a suite that contains a microwave, Keruig machine, mini-fridge, Flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom.
Single/Couple Occupancy rooms will consist of a King Size bed with a Full futon.
Double Occuancy will consist of two Queen size bunk beds in a room.
How will I be introduced to the other participants on the trip?
We will have at least two calls so that everyone can meet other participants on the trip.
Are we responsible for providing our own meals?
Included meals will be catered by a local restaurant. You will be responsible for purchasing your final lunch or dinner.
Will arrival and departure transfer be provided?
No, everyone will be responsible for their own arrival/departure transfers. However, we will provide transportation to any planned events on the itinerary.
What is the activity level of the event?
The event has an activity level of medium. You can always opt out of any activity, if desired.
There are plenty of activities to enjoy at the lodge if you choose to stay indoors. Indoor activities include a theater, games, or just relaxing.
Can you accommodate special dietary restrictions?
Yes, we can accommodate most situations. However, you will need to notify us via the “Participant Information” or support@blacktravelersint.com after sign-up so that we can evaluate your needs.
How do I get to Tennesse?
TRAVELING TO TENNESSEE
McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS)
The closest airport to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS). Situated approximately 46 miles northwest of Gatlinburg and 41 miles northwest of Pigeon Forge, McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS). McGhee Tyson Airport is well-connected and serviced by major airlines, including American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, and Allegiant Air.
Note: Rental cars, shuttles, taxis, and ride-sharing services are readily available for ground transportation to the Lodge
Asheville Regional Airport (AVL), located in Fletcher, North Carolina, can also be considered for travel to the Smoky Mountains. Although AVL is further away than TYS, approximately 70 miles northeast of Gatlinburg and 75 miles northeast of Pigeon Forge.
Asheville Regional Airport is served by major airlines such as American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines.

Hartsfield - Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL)
Hartsfield - Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), located in Atlanta, Georgia, can be considered an alternative. However, you will need to rent a car to travel to Tennessee. The drive is under 3 hours.
Note: A rental car is recommended for ease of travel.
Can I bring someone with me?
Only paid participants 21 years or older can participate in this trip and stay at the lodge.
What is the check-in/checkout time?
Our checkin time and date is September 4, 2025 after 5:30 PM EST.
Checkout ime is September 7, 2025 by 9 AM EST.
How do I book for a couple?
Once you are on the booking page, select "Couple Occupancy" under the 'Occupancy Type.'
The rate displyed is for a couple (2) that will share a king size suite and a King size bed.
You will be billed monthly at the couple rate for a total of $3350 based on your payment schedule.
