Restaurants with Vegan Options for Travelers to Ghana

While in Ghana, I tried these restaurants that had a selection of Vegan options.  These restaurants are listed below in order of my favorites.

The Garden and The Sea

This was one of my favorite restaurants.  This is a small restaurant that has one table inside and three tables in a sectioned-off area in the parking lot.  Their menu includes American style Vegan options of Mac and Cheese, Jollof Rice, Tuna Salad, Sloppy Joe, and many more options.  I had the Veggie Burger (Vegan) and ordered the Rasta Pasta (Vegan) to go.  My companion ordered the French toast as they were not interested in Vegan options.  The food was delicious.  It was the best Vegan Burger that I had in a long time.  The Rasta Pasta which I ate the next day was also delicious.  Online it says that they take Credit Cards, however, when we went their machine was not working so we had to pay in cash.

Hours: Wednesday to Saturday 9 AM to 8 PM

Tatale Vegan Restaurant

I love this restaurant.  The entire restaurant only carries Vegan options, the cuisine is Ghanaian and is delicious.  I had Kosayi, Red Red, and Banana, Soy Milk & Cinnamon Smoothie.  The other dishes that we tried were the Pumpkin and Spinach soup.  Give this place a try if you are looking for Vegan Options.

Hours:
Mon-Fri 11:30am-9:30pm, Sat 1:00pm-9:30pm, Sun 11:30am-9:30pm
